Spring Bike Ride – April 13

Spring Bike Ride - April 13

Finally! Some great riding weather. It was a sunny 20 degrees with a light breeze – great spring weather for a good ride. Lots of guys made it out for the 25 km waterfront ride from Williams at Pier 8 to Dundas and back. Good to see lots of new faces joining us for the ride.

We stayed on hard top all the way, so even the nice road bikes could make it. Some mountain bikers wanted to go off-roading around the Spencer Creek mark, but we held it together to make it to Domestique Cyclo Cafe, in Dundas, to refuel on food and drink and some good laughs. Great time hanging out there, and we really appreciate Krys and his staff at Domestique coping with 40 guys all showing up within a half hour. They did a great job.

Looking forward to getting out again soon. Some guys are talking about road biking, others about mountain biking, and some about getting our older kids out for a ride. Check back for more details of other rides and remember, it’s Bikes’N’Burgers in September!

Hey Guys, it’s Spring! The snow has gone (well, almost!). It’s time to pull out that bike, grease the chain, and get ready for a ride. Join REAL MEN Sunday, April 13th @2:30PM. We’ll be meeting at Williams (at Pier 8) and going for a leisurely waterfront ride to Dundas and back. This 25km route will also include a mid-ride stop at Cafe Domestique, where you can purchase lattes, cappuccinos and lunch.

It’s going to be a great afternoon on this scenic ride on a waterfront trail with a great pit stop at this cycling-themed cafe in downtown Dundas.
