Join Real Men with Guest Speaker Gareth Gilpin on Thursday, October 15th 7:30PM at 1045 Garth Street, Hamilton.

Gareth Gilpin has served as a pastor at Redeemer Church in Albany, NY for the past 8 years. Prior joining the Redeemer staff he served at City Bible Church in Portland, OR.

Gareth is an avid cyclist, but his real passion is seeing the Gospel transform people’s lives.

He has been married to his wife, Jennie, for 20 years and has three amazing children, ages 16, 14 and 11.

You can choose from 3 Routes:

LONG 60 KM – Departs 2PM from Chedoke Golf Course lower lot
MEDIUM 25 KM – Departs 3PM from Hwy #52 Rail Trail Parking Lot
SHORT 5KM – Departs 3:30PM from Lynden United Church parking lot

Not a biker? No problem. Meet all the guys at the farm for the BBQ at 4PM.

Real Men Burger Throwdown


We’ve Made It. We’ve Grilled It. Now YOU Be the Judge.

Join Real Men for our annual Burger Throwdown on Sunday, June 14th 4PM – 8PM at 620 Trinity Church Rd. There will be 8-10 teams competing head-to-head for the title of Best Burger. Attendees will be able to sample a piece of each available burger creation and then vote for their favourite!

There is a $10 fee for attendees and $5 fee for each team member paid at the event (CASH ONLY). This fun event is open to men 17 and up.

Real Men Get ‘Reel’ Fishing Derby


Join us for the Real Men Get ‘Reel’ Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 23 8AM at Binbrook Conservation Area. This is going to be a fun event open to the whole family and will end off with a BBQ!

Bring your fishing tackle and bait (none supplied) plus, mandatory bucket. You may also wish to bring chairs, blankets, sunscreen, refreshments. Following the derby, stick around for the provided BBQ.

NOTE: Those 18 years or older require a fishing license.


Derby is $10 per person to a max of $20 per family. PAYMENT AT EVENT, CASH ONLY.

Park entrance fee is in addition to the derby ($5-16 per vehicle, depending on number of occupants)

Real Men Spring Bike Ride


Join Real Men for a Spring Bike Ride on Sunday, May 3rd at 2PM

The route will go out to Dundas and back. Choose the Easy Rider route of 17 km or Burning Legs route of 25 km. All routes start and end at Dundurn Castle parking lot (610 York Blvd, Hamilton) and have a mid-way stop at Detour Coffee in Dundas.

Easy Rider: a flat, scenic route through Westdale, McMaster University and into Dundas. View Route.

Burning Legs: Climbs around the north shore of Cootes Paradise before descending into Dundas. View Route.
